Previous Episode: Hero, Bum, or Meh

The 1995 Steelers had a clear mission: avenge the previous season's failure. In the AFC Championship Game, the Steelers had the ball on the 3 yard line with time for one final play and a shot at their first Super Bowl trip since the 70's. That play fell short and after an offseason which saw a lot of change, fans wondered if the team would ever get that close again. But the 1995 season became a truly magical run full of great moments and memorable games which brought them right back to needing a big play in the final moments of the AFC Championship Game yet again. We will revisit that season in our latest episode.

REWIND is a series of our favorite Pittsburgh Sports Memories episodes that we will be dropping in between new episodes
