Pit Pass Indy Show host Bruce Martin has exclusive interviews with Roger Penske and Josef Newgarden as both men received their “Baby Borg” Trophies for winning the 2023 Indianapolis 500 in a special ceremony at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan on January 23, 2024.
Penske was the winning team owner of the 2023 Indianapolis 500. His latest “Baby Borg” Trophy is for a record-extending 19 Indianapolis 500 victories as a team owner. Newgarden was the winning driver of the 107th Indianapolis 500 on May 28, 2023, and picked up his first “Baby Borg.”
Five days later, Newgarden was part of a four-driver effort that won the 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona IMSA Sports Car race. The other drivers on the team were Felipe Nasr, Dane Cameron and Matt Campbell.
It was team owner Penske’s first Rolex 24 win since 1969.
