Today we are talking with Cathy Lucas. Cathy is an advocate and works with non-profits, like The Resiliency Foundation and Unchained At Last to raise awareness & lobby to outlaw forced and child marriage in the US. Child marriage is often used to cover abuse and in human trafficking. As a child bride herself, Cathy knows first-hand the trauma and adverse effects of child marriage. She got out of that marriage, built a successful life for herself, and is now advocating to end child marriage in all states in the US.
