Her involvement extended to social causes, as seen when she joined a picket line with Felicia at the boxing gym. In 1994, Lila counseled Brenda on relationships, hosted social events, and celebrated her birthday with a new dog, Annabelle. She dealt with family scandals and protected Reginald after a poisoning incident. In 1995, Lila focused on family weddings and minor incidents involving Annabelle.
