It’s always a challenge for me to play that game of push and pull when it comes to knowing how much to address or ignore about a friend’s challenge with infertility. I understand that it’s a sensitive topic, yet one that needs to be normalized to get people space to process the feelings and thoughts that accompany the physical struggles.
Christina takes us back to the beginning of her own journey. It is a personalized path, but she will share her perspective on how to care for the women around us and gain insight on appropriate times to bring up the topic and when to leave it alone. Christina and her husband decided to pursue local adoption and I can’t wait for you to hear what that has looked like in their lives.
Beyond the adoption of their daughter, they have struggled to decide which path to choose next in growing their family. Christina is very open and honest about what they have considered and the surprises and roadblocks that have defined their story.
