Dr. Karen Wolowick has been a practicing OBGYN for over 17 years.  She decided to venture into the world of private practice to try to reconnect with the more intimate and rewarding aspects of women's health.

She gives a review of what all physicians should know about OB-GYN. We get a crash course in birth control, why someone should “get their hormones checked,” how to think about risks when prescribing medications in a pregnant or nursing patient, the modern practice of OB, like laborists, and when we are going to start seeing pre and post-wifery, not just mid-wifery.

Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Wolowick went to college at Millersville University, where she majored in biology and played field hockey.  She went to medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her OBGYN residency at Rush University.
