Quo Vadis, Social Security

In this episode, Dr. Veltmeyer addresses the issue of Social Security, a well-intentioned program sabotaged by politicians perennially raiding its so-called "trust fund" in order to pay for other government programs. This has left the program bankrupt and dependent on either more workers paying into the system or higher payroll taxes in order to keep paying current recipients.  He advocates reforming the program to permit younger workers to invest their payroll taxes privately in order to increase their future retirement funds while decreasing future payouts from a bleeding program.
