🎩🍾 The first discothèque happened in a dancehall’s cellar under Nazi-occupied Paris - live bands attracted raids, so people went literally underground to revel in recorded music and recharge their courage for their daily fight to survive.
🎩🍾 It doesn’t feel like there is a lot to celebrate about a new year, and spiking infection rates make it too dangerous to celebrate together in person.
🎩🍾 But we have the PhooleOut Shelter, and Friday night is New Year’s Eve - so dress up, tune in, and send off 2021 with our CHAPPY PHOOLE YEAR party, and let’s find joy in the tunes and times together!
