The Race for the Record practically saved MLB when it was thought to be dead. Coming off a strike season there was a legitimate concern for lack of attendance all-around MLB. Baseball's Commish at the time, Bud Selig knew about the steroid use in MLB, but chose to ignore it and line his pockets with it. That being said, why should we put all the blame on the players?


Michael Jordan was the GOAT in terms of supreme athletes and basketball. But, what about the other sports? Who changed the game forever in the NHL, NFL, PGA, etc.?
