035 - Have Courage and Be Kind: Giana Darville

Giana Darville is a hard-working professional who just graduated from Oakwood University with a degree in public relations. This fall, Giana is moving to the Bay Area in California to work at a dream job for many: Apple Headquarters. Graduating at 21 with just three years in college, Giana has learned early how to find and enjoy freedom. Freedom in God, that is. Acknowledging that she has to lean on God to reveal His purpose for her life goals, Giana is on her way to greatness. There have been bumps along the way: relationships that fail and men who feel threatened by her ambition, yet Giana trudges on, meeting the likes of Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and even Tim Cook. Giana believes, in everything she does, you’ve gotta show up to show out. 

In this episode, we discuss Giana’s passion for communicating, the pains of being the middle sibling, what strong and independent women must persevere through, how to find mentorships and internships, and being the most prepared person you can be.
