Gabriella Molgaard, or $kinny G as she’s widely known, is a woman on a mission to pursue her passion: rap. She was raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, homeschooled until high school, and the first time she heard rap was long after most of her peers. By day, she’ll check your pulse and dress your wounds as a registered nurse, but every few Wednesdays, she’ll give patients a near heart attack with lyrical precision. $kinny G just wants to follow her dream. A savings account? That’s for the hopeful day she’ll have paid studio time.
