What's the story behind the Oakland B's, the city's new baseball team?

The Oakland A's may be skipping out and headed to Vegas, but Laney College is welcoming a minor league team, the Oakland Ballers, to town. 

This move adds a tinge of irony to the ongoing saga, as the A's previously chose Laney College as their first pick for a ballpark.
