President Biden, other world leaders and an estimated 30,000 people will arrive for APEC in San Francisco this week. It's been estimated the city would need between 2,000 and 5,000 officers to meet staffing requirements. Nine Bay Area law enforcement agencies and the California Highway Patrol are sending officers to help.
