Today I am launching the second of three episodes in a special series of podcasts with Tara Humphrey! Tara is the founder and managing director of THC Primary Care which was set up initially in 2015. She has 20 years of experience in business development and operations management covering the public and private sector and has an MBA in Leadership and Management in Health Care.  Tara is passionate about helping people and giving them the tools, time and support to develop their ideas and bring them to fruition.

Tara and I met through instagram when I first started my podcast. Soon after connecting, she launched The Business of Healthcare Scholarship Scheme which I applied for and was granted mentoring. At the time of mentoring, I was making some big decisions in my career as my 12-month contract with the Evelina London Children's Hospital (ELCH) was coming to a close. Through mentoring, I was given the right advice and encouragement to apply for a permenant role with ELCH and got the job!

I reached out to Tara to share her insight on elements of team working, project management and goal setting that are relatable to any pharmacist or pharmacy career pathway. Today's episode is focused on our personal experiences with team meetings. Tara provides us with some insight on what tactics have worked within her team to have productive meetings with engagement from all her staff.

I have also shared Tara's podcast link below and episodes from her podcast that you might find useful to listen to and relate to the conversations we have had in this 3-part series.
