On today's episode I had a fantastic conversation with Claire May! Claire has been working as a pharmacist for 20 years and has a broad range of experience in Academia, Retail Pharmacy, and Primary Care.  She is passionate about supporting the development of undergraduate pharmacy students as well as the role of a pharmacist in sports. We share our personal stories of working as pharmacists in a sports environment. Claire has been a consultant pharmacist for the PGA European Tour for 8 years and she worked in the Athlete's Village at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, which she describes as a phenomenal experience and one the highlights of her career. Her passion about being a Sports Pharmacist is evident during this episode. In 2020, she was awarded an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Certificate in Drugs in Sport.

If you are interested in Sports Pharmacy, make sure to follow the International Sports Pharmacist Network on LinkedIn and the Sports Pharmacists YouTube Channel. You'll also find an interview on YouTube with Claire discussing her experience to date.
