On this episode of the Phame Influence Podcast we welcome Bob Berman, the CEO Instrumart located in South Burlington, VT since 1988.

 Instrumart started with humble beginnings in Bob’s kitchen in Middlebury, VT.  The company is a value-added distributor of factory automation and precision industrial instrumentation with as sales force comprised of all 4-year engineering graduates (BSEE, BSME, BSCE, BSCS) who act as consulting engineers for client projects in pharma, plastics, packaging, food processing, defense, agriculture, medical research, academic research, wastewater and sewage management, environmental control, and other industries.  Instrumart has over 100 vendors covering every major engineering technology to control, measure, and record/transmit data with annual sales of $50,000,000/year. with 65 employees.

 

The company is in the top ten Google AdWord clients for all New England–spends approximately $3,000,000. annually (funding over 5,000 individual campaigns for it’s products). The website is maintained by an internal IT programming team and is responsible for generating 300-400 inbound phone calls per day, and 3,000,000 web visitors per year with 100% of sales being e-commerce.

 Bob has been a keyboard player since age 14 and has played in more bands than he can remember since that time; rock n roll, funk, C&W, wedding, doo-wop, oldies, southern rock, Latin rock, wedding band.  In the past 5 years he’s built a multi-studio recording business and a live sound company as part of his passion for the arts.  He enjoys attending the symphony, opera, fusion, jazz, and rock live concerts.  Bob, is the current owner/manager of Amplified Studios and Social Live Sound in  Carlsbad, CA since 2017.
