Keith Hopper is a retired chartered highways engineer living in Petersfield.

He keeps a keen interest in the development of our town. As a member of Petersfield Society, Keith has mixed views about the way Petersfield High Street has been resurfaced.

While nobody will complain about the new smooth surface, does the work represent a lost opportunity to make the street better for pedestrians?
