The Chernobyl Childrens Lifeline is a charity based close to Petersfield.

Since the war in Ukraine it has turned its attention to supporting the education of children there. Its latest initiative is a "school in a bag" which provides a grab-and-go collection of useful materials for pupils who must rush to a bomb shelter.

Shine Radio's Stephen Martin met charity CEO Dennis Vystavskin and farm landlord Simon Butler from Hartley Park Farm near Selborne. He provides the charity's accommodation and helps it fundraise.

In addition to funds, the charity is also looking for people who can help drive its vehicle to Ukraine to help deliver supplies.
