Meralco (Manila Electric Company) is one of the oldest companies in the Philippines. They're also one of the biggest company that's listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange, in terms of market capitalization. They give out consistent dividends every single year and tosses out some special payments here and there as well. Although Meralco sometimes dish out some questionable bills, there's no question that the service they provide are adequate and sort of irreplaceable, in most cases. This gives the company the ability to produce a stream of consistent income and has made themselves a cash cow.
