Listener Bella shared her recent horrifying experience with Qantas on Perth Live.

She told Oliver Peterson that her 6:55pm Friday night flight from Broome to Perth was delayed for hours upon arrival at her terminal. Travellers boarding this flight were forced to stay on-board the aircraft with no air-conditioning, lighting and a lack of water before being kicked out of Broome Airport due to its closure.

"The last flight out of Broome was at 8pm, their airport is not like ours, it's not 24 hours so they ended up leaving before we did and we were left sitting in the airport for hours after our flight had been delayed," she told Oly.

"Just after 8pm we got on board and sat on the plane for probably an hour just trying to start the plane. But we would lose power, you could hear the hydraulics- it was so loud - the plane was definitely not happy."

Bella further told Oly that after four hours on the tarmac, the passengers had to disembark and were told to "fend for themselves" as the entire cabin crew and pilots got in taxi's to leave.
