Psychologists have reviewed one hundred studies on the consequences of swearing and found it to be a powerful tool.
From helping tolerate pain, easing stress, building connection and even being persuasive, the research strongly suggest that swearing could be good for.
Chief editor of the Australian National Dictionary Centre, and author of 'Rooted, and Australian history of Bad Language' Amanda Laugesen joined Oly Peterson on Perth Live top chat about it.
