Episode 66 - Georgi Banks-Davies

In today’s episode Elaine and Misha chat with film director Georgi Banks-Davies. Georgi is inspiring and has filmed all over the world in various and extreme situations. Yet, still makes brilliant work and films with heart & soul. She is the lead director on the brand-new show from Sky Atlantic I Hate Suzie which starts on 27th August 2020. You will be able to watch all episodes from Friday the 28th August on Sky Atlantic and Now TV. We are so excited for this and when you hear Georgi talk about it you will be too, we’re sure.

ABOUT GEORGI
Georgi is a film director. Her short film GARFIELD played in competition at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and made the BAFTA long-list. Her latest short film THE FIGHT, written by Abby Ajayi premiered last year at Palm Springs Shortfest.

Her latest project is TV series I HATE SUZIE co-created by Lucy Prebble and Billie Piper, released Aug 2020 on Sky Atlantic. She is also in development on her debut feature with Hillbilly and BBC Films.
