Resurrection Life!

Perry and Shawna talk about the blessings that flow from the resurrection of Jesus.  First Jesus’ resurrection and the giving of the Holy Spirit enables us to supernaturally understand the bible and helps us understand that the bible is one epic story that’s all about Jesus!  Next Jesus’ resurrection shouts that we really have nothing to fear.  Because the worst thing that can happen to us is death, and Jesus has conquered it!  And finally Jesus’ resurrection empowers us to live a new life:  Instead of living a “me first life,” or having to win or prove our worth, we can rest in the deep knowing that God loves us and we can live a life of serving, loving, building others up, cheering others on.  The resurrection shows us a new way to be human, and gives us the power to live it out!
