Perry wonders, “What was the point of the flood? God cleansed the world of all evil, Noah and his family came out of the ark, but the world just fell back into even greater evil!”

Then, Shawna got a call and immediately knew her day was about to take a radical turn. Those moments can be unsettling. But our peace isn’t determined by things going the way we’d planned but in trusting in the God who’s planned our days.

Perry shares, “There were 2 times in my life that I believed I’d be swallowed up by the darkness—as a teenager chained to my sins, and then in a deep depression when I felt cut off from God.”

Next, Shawna was overlooked in the waiting room. Her initial “annoyance” at the inconvenience revealed her desire to be seen. We long to be seen, known and loved. That need isn’t met in anything but the God who put the need there, and longs to meet it.

Last, God sent Aaron to Moses to help accomplish his God-given assignment to set Israel free. God has really beautiful plans for your life too. And you don’t have to go it alone.
