“I had nowhere to turn. EFRAT saved my baby’s life. And transformed mine.”  That is the testimony of just one of the over 85,200 Israeli babies that have been saved through EFRAT.

EFRAT supports mothers-to-be in Israel with financial assistance and emotional support so they can give birth and raise their babies with dignity, joy and peace of mind.

Nir Salomon, Executive Director of EFRAT, along with Ruth who runs their center in Jerusalem, join us from Jerusalem to share stories of lives saved through EFRAT and the impact those lives are having on the world today.

It is estimated that of the nearly 170,000 active duty and 360,000 reservist Israel Defense Forces soldiers currently serving  in the Israeli war, as many as 10,000 of them may have been babies saved from abortion 20 or more years ago thanks to EFRAT.

Also in this episode, many of us aren’t getting the sleep we need…and that’s important because a lack of sleep can be detrimental to our health.  While our phones or tablets can be to blame in some cases, for others it’s the anxiety they carry with them.  How do we keep the burdens of the day from getting the rest we need?  We’ve got answers!

Lastly, if you’ve not seen The Chosen, a T.V. series on the life of Jesus, I highly recommend it. Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus in a conversation with Dallas Jenkins, director of The Chosen, talks about the weigh of playing Jesus and how it has impacted his life both on and off screen. Can you imagine? Representing Jesus in every aspect of your life? You should.
