“Like I said, from the beginning, if I can preserve my mom digitally, then my job has done that.

That was my initial mission. And if that costs me tons and tons of money to get to that place, that’s why I was doing it. And I think now that’s morphed into – now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel, that I can do that with her. That’s now gotten to a place of  ‘I want to share this with everybody.’

I don’t want to be the only person that has this. I don’t want to be the only person that’s spared from the intense grief and. I think at the end of the day, when we talk in our executive meetings and think through things, we always come back to ‘we can really change the world.'”

There are people who know more than you. And once you accept that and you give people the agency to go do what they do best, your results are going to be really good. You know, the second that your doubt or you’re questioning them, you’re impeding their work and you’re not trusting the process that you’ve put in place.

On running a company and self care: It’s really easy to be engulfed and have your whole world be your business. If you don’t realize that there’s a place where that begins and a place that ends, it will never end. People will want to ask you questions 24 hours a day. So for me, one of the big things is protecting my time.
