Welcome to our last podcast episode in double digits. Damo Starts by shouting out the people who are a few weeks late on their New Year’s resolutions. It’s time to get it going. Damon and Damo take a moment to give Tisha her flowers in celebration of her hitting the year mark as a PTSF host. We have a conversation about understanding the fact that men and women speak two different languages and how that can affect decisions made in the workplace. This leads to a conversation about false reporting. Tisha discusses NAVADMIN 006/24, and the impact that it can have on the fleet. There’s a little confusion here. Word is, that people are working to make a few changes to this NAVADMIN. The trio discusses the biggest things that they would change if they could. Damo discusses YouTubers “standing on business.” Is there any reason why a First Class Petty Officer should ever go “cranking?” What are your thoughts of a Sailor being Meritoriously promoted right before they transfer from a ship? Damo asks if there should be a time limit for marriage proposals. Do women need back pockets? Chiefs, have you ever called a Sailor’s previous command to get information on the Sailor? An investigation of a suicide onboard USS Theodore (CVN-71) Roosevelt specifically calls out Chiefs for denying the Sailor mental health resources. A young Sailor, known for episodes of fainting, collapsed and fell overboard while working on his ship, leading to his death. Could something have been done to prevent this?
