Alan Briggs helps leaders avoid burnout, get healthy and reach more impact. He coaches leaders, consults with teams, curates leadership experiences and creates life-altering content alongside his team at Stay Forth Designs. He also co-hosts Right Side up Leadership Podcast. He has been a pastor, church planting catalyst and entrepreneur. He is dad to four amazing kids and husband to one amazing wife, the other guest on today’s episode, Julie Briggs. His books Staying is the New Going, Guardrails and Everyone’s a Genius help leaders take their next right steps.
Julie is a Colorado native. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She enjoys spending time with people and learning what makes them tick. Julie loves helping people understand how they were built, how they see the world, and why they interact with others the way they do. She believes healing and inspiration can come from knowledge of oneself and others. Julie has spent countless hours studying and teaching the Enneagram and is working toward her teacher certification through the Narrative Tradition. She is excited to use this tool to help people, businesses, non-profits, and churches. Julie also works with local foster care agencies, where she interviews prospective foster families and helps prepare them to take in traumatized children. Her current passion is getting the Enneagram inside prisons and jails to help facilitate self-awareness and trauma healing. Julie is the mother of Betti, Manny, Eli, and Mercy and the wife of Alan. She loves spending time with her family, being in the mountains, girls’ weekends, eating delicious food, and enjoying a nice glass of wine.
