Hello potential listeners/viewers!

My name is Rob Littwin and I am a huge comedy nerd.

I have spent years in the art/comedy/theater scene in Chicago and have come to love the unique atmosphere and ocean of genuine talent here. We have so much, it frequently spills into New York and Los Angeles, congealing into comedy writers, national stand-up acts, and even people you’ve seen on TV.

I adore so many unique talents in this city, and I’d love to give each of them their own major studio contract, but...

…I’m not a talent scout. Also, I don’t control a media empire.

However, I am an audio engineer, a photographer, videographer, and now I can add “podcaster” to that list.

My show is called ‘Performance Revue’. It’s a weekly podcast in which I tape a performance, then invite the performer over at a later date to have an in-depth discussion about it. In addition to each podcast containing audio of said performance, I will have two video clips as well; one of the act we will be discussing, and another one with live, unedited commentary as the artist and I watch it together.

I plan to focus on local talent here in Chicago, but if any of my New York or L.A. friends swing by, I’ll gladly put them on an episode as well (I may have already done this in season one).

I am very excited to announce that a short, teaser episode will go live this Wednesday (10/24/2018), with the first full episode (featuring the quick-witted Matt Brown) becoming available on Friday (10/26).

The vast majority of these recordings (both performances and interviews) were completed in the Summer of 2018. I will be editing and releasing all content on a weekly schedule. There are fifteen episodes planned for the first season. Fifteen more are scheduled for season two, which will premier in the Spring of 2019.

If you share my love of live comedy, I cordially invite you to give these brilliant people a listen. Who knows, you might become a fan of someone before they score that big studio deal.
