If ever you need a bit of calming down or a reminder that being nice has many rewards, you just have to listen to today's guest, the beautiful gentle soul who is Belinda Jeffery,

She's an award winning author who has worked as cook (she won’t say chef) a TV food presenter on Better Homes and Gardens, a food writer, a teacher, a café owner and a restaurant reviewer. She  lives and works here on Bundjalung Country where she haunts the farmers markets each week and cooks up a storm and plans her next projects.

We talked about growing up with a mum like Cooee, her career in cooking, all her cookbooks including her latest a Year of Sundays, accidents in the kitchen, farmers markets and fresh veggies, her venture with charity Too Good, being a skinny bitch and being married for 48 years.

In true Belinda style, make yourself a nice cup of tea relax for next 40 minutes and enjoy the impossibly lovely Belinda Jeffery.

Buy Belinda's many wonderful cookbooks  from her website belindajeffery.com.au or through your favourite independent bookseller.
