This week's show takes a look at the early parts of the Republican Convention, reviews the last few races of the Georgia primary season including an interesting contest between Meagan Hanson and Alan Cole in HD 80, and we close with a discussion of the future of the Democratic party after the 2016 presidential primary.

The kickoff of the Republican Convention this week brings back shades of 1964, the last time the Republican party nominated an outsider who ran on racial angst and identity under the guise of law and order.

A correction to Kyle's comment in the third segment: Barry Goldwater ran in 1964, not 1968.
