Irith Bloom, owner of The Sophisticated Dog, is a trainer of dogs and other animals. She uses positive reinforcement, and today we learn about a common situation for dog owners - dogs with reactive or aggressive behavior while they are on-leash.

Two items you may want to consider for this training:

Front-clip harness such as the Freedom harness. This can help for situations when your dog reacts very strongly while on leash. Soft treats divided up into very tiny pieces, like beef jerky. Hard, crunchy treats are not recommended.
