On this episode of the Pawareness Podcast, we welcome Jas Leverette, an Oakland dog trainer and host of the Netflix original series, Canine Intervention. Jas is also the Founder of Cali K9, or California K9 Solutions, which specializes in socialization and behavior modification.

Jas shares about his experience starring in Canine Intervention and leading an animal training organization, then gives insight into his five pillar dog training system and why it can work for any dog. He highlights common mistakes dog owners make when training dogs and the incredible future projects he has in the works for 2021 and beyond.

“My system really works on getting the solid foundation of engagement, focus, and motivation, then we start working on some different static behaviors and starting to teach familiarization and socialization.
