Paul goes behind the curtain with the owner of the legendary business, Architectural Artifacts, Stuart Grannen. Located in Chicago for 37 years, Stuart chose to leave our cold winters for the temperate climate of Round Top, Texas (located about an hour from Austin or Houston, TX).

Grannen is an archaeologist by training, loved spending his childhood weekends frequenting antique stores, but wanted to offer furniture and other items that people could enjoy in their own homes. From large pieces like finials off of historic buildings, to stain glass and antique hardware, there’s no way to articulate all that this store and warehouse offers.

Stuart talks the history, the stories…and lets us know that we can still “Shop” the artifacts even after the move by visiting: www.architecturalartifacts.com
