This week we discuss Rent Control. City of Tallahassee and the county of Leon would like to prohibit the landlord from raising rents sooner than 60 days of a lease end. Both govt bodies want landlords to offer at least a 60 day notice.
Orlando attempted to put a rent control measure on their ballot for Nov 8 election day and this measure was blocked by an appeals court.
