It seems as though the expectations of romance and love in the church has been skewed quite a bit and porn in all its varied expressions has had a role to play. I once told ya'll, it felt as though men of faith were looking for a mix of a "Sunday School Teacher & a Porn Star..." An expectation and fantasy we as women feel we can't fully live up to (Hello Comparison Game) and a fantasy that robs men of true intimacy with a real live woman.
