The end of the year is almost upon us. Come January, the Pastor Writer podcast will be three years old. That’s hard for me to believe. I want to say a big thank you to so many listeners who have made it an incredible experience. It’s become such a part of my weekly routine I can’t imagine life without out.

I’m really excited about the upcoming year. I’ve got some big announcements coming up, some new opportunities for you as listeners, and already some amazing guests scheduled for the new year. I want to keep having conversations with great authors to learn about the topics their passionate about and how they go about writing their books.

But for today, as we wrap up 2020 and as I’ve done for the last few years, I want to share with you my list of favorite reads from the past year. Looking back over what you have read is a really interesting way of thinking about what has snapped you how God has been at work growing you.

For me, this list is slightly different from previous years. I’ve spent most of 2020 working on a manuscript that is currently titled, Five Masculine Instincts. I’ve been reading a ton of books as research for that manuscript. So a lot of my reading was biased by this topic I’ve been digging so deep into. I just finished the first-fish draft of that manuscript this week, so stay tuned for more updates.

So, without further ado, my favorite reads of 2020.
