In Judaism, the holiday that's associated with Pentecost is called The Shavout. It points us to the holiness of God and demands us to live holy. But it makes no provision for our insufficiencies. This is where the New Covenant in Christianity is different. It is the giving of transformational power that allows the believer to live holy, because God’s own Spirit has moved to the inside of us.Thus we are empowered!!
