We tend to find every reason under the sun to put off aligning our lives with God’s ordained purpose

We are even arrogant enough to think we somehow have plenty of time to put our affairs with God in order as if we control time

We make time to pursue everything we desire. We build and beautify our homes, showcase our success, boast about the fine cars we want, and drive

The scripture refers to how when we pursue things putting the building of God’s temple on the back burn how our thirst is never quenched

The scriptures speak of with all our clothes we never find warmth

I want you to think of the richest person that comes to your mind. Do you have them in mind?

Now evaluate their existence, they are not free from trouble, drama, headache, addiction, deception, or thieves.

With all their wealth they still are in pursuit of more, bigger, greater, more titles, more awards, and more accolades. They can afford the finest of wines, but their thirsts are still never quenched.

Why? Because there is nothing that is created by the hands of mand that will ever quench the thirsts of our souls.
