We struggle with giving anyone that measure of control over our lives even God. When we say Lord, order my step that is complete submission to the will and ways of God, even when you can’t see the road ahead, he has you traveling on.

The lyrics to the song say, “lead me guide, every day, teach me, and while you are working help me be still. Oftentimes, we know God is working but we are inclined to want Him to hurry up and we see what we think is a much easier path.

When then become tempted to start meddling in God’s business, disrupting His plan as if we could honestly know better than him. Some of you listening to me right now, need to shout right now, Lord while you are working help me be still.

Psalm 46:10 tell us to be still and know that I am God

Sincere faith in God trust that regardless of what it looks like God is working it all out for our good. Sincere faith in God has made peace with the 23rd Psalm which declares the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want he maketh me to lie down in green pastures he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Don’t let your faith in God become waivered and disrupt His green pastures or cause wave in the waters he has called to be still.
