Welcome to the inaugural lesson of our series "Lessons From Eden." Over the course of this series, we will delve into topics such as gratitude, faith, obedience, godly relationships, god-centered households, our free will, and God's favor. We kick off the series by examining God's power and authority to prayerfully assist in establishing or renewing the spirit of gratitude and magnifying godly obedience.

God’s power and authority are two crucial elements that we often underestimate, overlook, neglect, or disregard when discussing or contemplating the vastness of God's nature. We often confine God within the narrow boundaries of human comprehension, limiting His vastness according to our own understanding.

As our minds struggle to comprehend the full spectrum of God's power and authority, we tend to miss out on the invaluable opportunity to establish an intimate and close relationship with Him, which can be detrimental to our lives and our god-ordained purpose.

God is undeniably our refuge. He is our safe place, our shelter from the storms of life, danger, and deception. Psalm 91:4 tells us He will cover you with his pinions; under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
