We have to be careful not to resist change. Resistance to change is known to invoke negativity. Those who refuse to accept change will find themselves in a state of depression, rebellion, and dealing with insecurities, bouts of jealousy, resentment, anger, and even rage.

No one is exempt from the continuous pattern of change, everyone has either just endured significant change, currently dealing with change, or is about to enter into a season of change.

Going against change is equivalent to trying to go “DOWN” an “UP” escalator. It can be done but it's exhausting and will never get to the greater awaiting on the next level of your life.

The only thing we can be assured that never changes is God and His Word. In the midst of change, whatever the change, be it good or bad, happy or sad, immediate or slow, our only true navigating source is God who is unchanging.

The only consistency we should long for is a love for Him and our faith in His Word. One of the hardest scriptures to accept regardless of what life brings is Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

I used to hear my grandmother and her friends refer to something or someone who changes like the weather”. There is so much depth in that old saying because change like the weather can bring storms and sunshine.

We have seen that weather can bring tragedies and even take lives, but the weather is also the reason why we have the beautiful gift of seeing a rainbow and flowers bloom.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Life is a compilation of changes, reactions, choices, and decisions. CHANGE… expect it, embrace it and find excitement in it.
