There are about 33,000 different Christian denominations. Why are we so divided? If Christianity were lived out rightly, there wouldn’t be as much division We’d rather fight each other than fight the enemy of our souls.
We all have the same Holy Spirit in us. If that’s the case, why are we not united? Doctrinal differences. Sin. Pride. Ego. “My way or the highway.”
If we were all out in a war, would our doctrines matter? We’re in a battle. We need to be together and not let little doctrinal differences separate us.
We need to pursue truth. One truth we need to acknowledge is that there are demons actively working to destroy the Church. Jesus knew it. He even told us to pray “deliver us from evil.” There must be evil, if He included that in the Lord’s prayer.
Demons are active. They’re working today. Their activities will increase as time goes on. Some will depart from the faith, giving in to the doctrines of demons. Demons want to deceive intellectually, and every way they can. They are liars, and have no conscience preventing them from twisting the truth.
Don’t be a doubting Thomas about what’s happening with evil in the world. Seek truth and walk in it.
