Jerry M. Carroll of I Matter Counseling & Empowerment Services

Jerry M. Carroll holds a Master’s degree from Ashland University and is a licensed counselor with I Matter Counseling and Empowerment Services. Jerry has always had a passion to assist others who have given up on life by providing them with hope. Jerry is passionate about helping individuals and families to overcome any barriers in life. Jerry believes pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. 

I Matter teaches individuals that they are valuable regardless of any situation or circumstance. "They Matter." 

I Matter Counseling uses Trauma Focused Therapy and other evidence-based modalities to improve protective factors such as improved sleep, diet, and exercise to increase brain functioning. They focus on teaching you the value of healthy lifestyle choices and work alongside you to support your wellness journey. Jerry's empathy, warmth, and superb reflective listening skills have created a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal.
