I’m back from a little mental health break with Melissa Ifill, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), speaker, wellness coach, and therapist to discuss why it’s necessary to heal from your childhood trauma in order to be a more intentional parent. Rona has many parents out here forgetting their parenting WHY...the reason they chose to be conscious parents. And I say that with no judgment. We are all under tremendous amounts of stress, including our children, and this living through the trauma of a pandemic while trying to work, homeschool, and be a conscious parent ain’t easy. But that’s the very reason we need to work on being more intentional parents. In this episode, Melissa and I discuss why healing from our own trauma is so important and how to practice radical forgiveness in order to be conscious parents.
