52. Don’t Go in the Water: A Guide to the Wonderful & Wacky Animals of Florida (with Ellen Weatherford of 'Just the Zoo of Us')

On today's show Jack is joined by the fabulous Ellen Weatherford, who some of you may know from the incredible podcast 'Just the Zoo of Us'! She is here to celebrate the wonderful and wacky wildlife of her home state… Florida! 

If anyone is concerned that one state may not contain enough interesting animals, do not panic! The extreme diversity of Florida’s landscape provides a wealth of bizarre species to discuss. To give you a little taste, throughout the course of the conversation the duo discuss topics including snapping turtles, bison, alligators, anoles, cotton mouths, spoonbills, scrub jays, manatees, mangroves, marshes and making yourself a menace on the neighbourhood group chat! They also discuss some of their personal experiences with Florida wildlife and why it is so chaotically charismatic!
