Purpose by Design welcomes Yashica Mack - a powerhouse southern woman who has so much knowledge to impart into you! Yashica is a mother of three wonderful children, owns her own business: Sheka B & Associates, and has a nonprofit called Mackhouse Charities. She served her country in the army and worked many jobs. Yashica obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a master's degree in Counseling for Psychology.This podcast is more focused on Yashica’s journey as a parent and a woman of faith, however. She had to persevere through far more than the average person. In 2010, her husband was diagnosed with ALS disease and passed away. Shortly after she began having challenges with her daughter, who would run away for days at a time. Yashica shares how her daughter's struggle stemmed from with mental illness. Controlling situations was always natural to Yashica until she pleaded with God one fateful day when she got the news that her son got into a bad car-accident. Hear how her faith and Heaven showed up!
