Today on the show, we welcome Jodie Esquibel. Jodie is a professional mixed martial arts fighter who just had her debut in the UFC. If you don’t know much about MMA, we’re talking about an elite athlete who goes through some of the most rigorous and intense physical training known to mankind. Jodie started out her intense physical career as a firefighter and later discovered boxing and MMA. In this episode, Jodie shares her fascinating story and what it’s been like working for so many years in various male-dominated industries. She shares with us what happens at the intensive fight camps leading up to her fights and the controversy of weight cutting. Jodie is someone who really values nutrition and having a well-balanced lifestyle.
