In the Outside Magazine article "The Workout Time Forgot", world-renowned movement expert Erwan Le Corre said that "We live like zoo animals!" and that we are essentially wild creatures ill-suited to desk jobs and processed foods.

He says that "We have become divorced from nature, trapped in colorless boxes,"and that "We have lost our adaptability, and it's threatening our health and longevity."

We all spend more than enough time in boxes, sedentary, motionless, but even when we know the benefit of getting up, going outside, and moving our bodies, getting out of the box can be difficult and potentially fraught if you are stiff, tight, imbalanced, and out of shape.

This is where Personal trainers, or more specifically, movement coaches come in.

On today's Paleo Radio Bite we talk to movement coach Jenn Pilotti, owner of a private training studio in Carmel, California.

In our conversation we discuss:

Her favorite functional movements. Overcoming movement fears. The difference between kick-ups, frogger's, and other handstand progressions. and much more.
