After some disagreement on a few things, the Packers and Jets seem to have a deal pretty close to done for the trade of Aaron Rodgers, they are just waiting to hear if Aaron Rodgers would rather retire. Bakhtiari won't be a part of that trade to the Jets though as his contract has been restructured to stay in Green Bay through the 2024 season. The Packers have opened up $24M in cap space because they believe they can make a Super Bowl push in a weak NFC, which players are the best bargains for the Packers and could help the Packers build a Super Bowl roster in 2023.
